Finish This Week #36

I had missed last week’s Finish This link up because I was sick and I am still sick.  I have this horrible hacking cough and congestion in my chest and ears and head.  It makes it hard to think and get any work done, but I was determined to get this out at least since I did already missed last week.

It is slowly getting better.  The cough seems more productive and getting out the congestion.  I hope.

Finish This wouldn’t be such a success without the following beautiful ladies – Our lovely hosts are the following:  Lisa at Coastlined, Nicole at Three 31, Jen at The Arizona Russums, and Becky at The Java Mama!  Check them out and then play along!

1.  I am serious about…
Everything?  I think I always lean more on the serious side then the let it be as it is relaxed attitude.  If I had to pick one single thing it would probably be this blog.  I am serious that I would like to make it more of a regular job (which it is), but something I can get a more steady income from then I do now.  I want to be a success in my own terms and on my own ground.  Does that make sense?  I need to grow, I need to spread my wings and feel like I am a success then a super failure.

I believe I have grown this past year more than I could have imagine, and I can only hope that brands can see that I can spread more out in my field(s) and experience more.  I know I am not great at it, but time will only make me better so I can learn as much as I can to grow.  Buckle down and fly!

2.  I am most relaxed when…
Everything is done.  Once everything I have set to do is done, I can relax and just “be”. The kitchen must be cleaned and everything put away.  The house picked up in general.  I feel like I can do what I please when everything is as it should be.  That includes blog posts, emails along with the house stuff I mentioned.  Vacation also has a relaxing hand in me.

3.  There is no place like…
The Oregon Coast.  As I have said before time and time again and probably will over and over on several different type of questions.  The coast makes me happy.  It makes me relaxed and just in awe.  Always.

Oregon Coast

Home is a pretty close match too, but first and foremost goes to the coast.  But anywhere Jason and Roxy are is my happy place too.  Anywhere they are is HOME to me.

  • Hi Angie!!! Are you my long lost twin?! HAHA! Seriously though, I hope you feel better soon. Nothing worse than being under the weather during the warmer months. The Oregon coast looks BEAUTIFUL! And like you….I need to spread my wings too. I’m with ya girlie!!!! :::feel better:::

    • I know right? That is what I thought when I read yours. Great minds 😉

great pictures, the ocean picture is so pretty. I agree with you it is hard to relax when all you are doing is thinking about all of the stuff you still have to do

    • I know!! That is what I think. Drives me NUTS that Jason is the total opposite. He’d rather la de dah before doing stuff that needs to get done. I don’t get it!

  • Lisa Moles

I love your last line…that has always been my philosophy too – wherever my family is – that’s HOME! I’ve never been to the Oregon coast…looks like it needs to be added to my (very long) list!

    • There is just so many places to visit isn’t there? I know my list is fairly long as well. Thankful that the Oregon coast for me is just a quick trip

  • The Oregon Coast is definitely my happy place too!
