Catch the Moment 365 for 2015 – Week 24 #CatchtheMoment365

I swear to you this should be the last week that I am this late on posting my weekly photo challenges. It’s been a month, but I do think it’ll start slowing down and be a bit more normal and I can get back to this little blog.

Our anniversary party was yesterday (Saturday) and it turned out nice. Not as many showed as I was hoping, but the weather was perfect and the food and company was fantastic.

My doctor’s appointment was this last week as well, and all my blood work was good. My thyroid is slightly inflamed though and had an ultrasound on that this week too, the gland itself is normal, but one side is bigger than the other but at least there are no nodules. So we’ll recheck the blood work in a couple of months on that. I do think that my tingling could be caused by that too not just the anxiety. Which maybe didn’t help it, but time will tell. At least I am not dying.

The photos from this last week weren’t great. We had our yard sale and then just a week getting ready for our party and my appointments. A lot more “go” than I am used to.

Catch the Moment 365 for 2015 – Week 24

Catch the Moment 365 - Day 162 - Current Book

Day 162 – Thursday, June 11th – I love bringing my book to soccer.  Here we have my current book once again.  I am already almost done with it too.  I love that I am reading more again.  The summertime seems a much better time for me when it comes to reading.

Catch the Moment 365 - Day 163 - Keep Me Happy

Day 163 – Friday, June 12th – Since Jason had a double-header at soccer this night, I decided I needed to treat myself with the Starbucks Smore Frap.  So tasty.  And of course, my book.  I was a pretty happy girl even with a double-header.  Jason tried for a third and I am like no, I am ready to go.

Catch the Moment 365 - Day 164 - Debbie and Roxy at Yard Sale

Day 164 – Saturday, June 13th – First day of our yard sale.  Roxy was acting like she was chilly, so Debbie wrapped her up.  She seemed pretty content with this setup.

Catch the Moment 365 - Day 165 - Painting for Sale

Day 165 – Sunday, June 14th – Second day of the yard sale.  I was really hoping this painting would sell.  I really love it, but I just don’t have the wall space to hang it anywhere.  I think I am going to put it on the sale site for here and hope it goes.

Catch the Moment 365 - Day 166 - Guest Room Ready

Day 166 – Monday, June 15th – Monday was spent getting the downstairs guest room cleaned in case anyone came to our party from further away, but nada did, but oh well it needed it anyway.

Catch the Moment 365 - Day 167 - How I Spent My Day

Day 167 – Tuesday, June 16th – This was how some of Tuesday was spent.  My tingling being most likely my anxiety, but noted was my thyroid was a bit enlarged.

Catch the Moment 365 - Day 168 - The Look of No Not Soccer

Day 168 – Wednesday, June 17th – The look of Roxy when she realizes that oh no it’s soccer night.  Sad puppy.

How was your week?

I need to put that book on my wish list so I don’t forget about it. I love the smores frappucinos too, sooo good. I am glad you figured out what was causing the tingling. I love all of the cute pictures of Roxy. Have a great week and take care.

    • I don’t think I have found the cause of the tingling yet, I am thinking more and more it has to do with my thyroid then any anxiety, but we’ll see. Its going somewhere though. Thanks for being so awesome April!

How fun was this to follow along with your week. I love that painting, I can totally seeing it with words and turning it into a mixed media piece. Too bad you don’t have the wall space, can you possibly cut it down into smaller bits and frame them?

I loved the Movie Gone Girl, I think it would be great to read that book if it’s the same author. Dark places, how do you like it?

    • Its too thick and in a beautiful solid frame to do that.

I have read Gone Girl – waiting on the movie – so good! And yes same author, Dark Places was AMAZING.

Awe, that’s a shame. Hopefully you find it a good home. I’ll have to add it to my wishlist for future reads.
