Well, what can I say this last week was fairly busy but in a nice kind of way too. With Kris here we had some plans to fill our days and some just downright lazy days as well. I think it was a fairly good mix for the most part.
Thursday after I scheduled my last week’s post; after Jason got home, we walked down to the Garage Bar and Grill that we have meant to try forever. It’s just short walk from our house so would make a perfect spot for us. We enjoyed it. We were able to sit outside, which was perfect and the food and drinks were good. We plan to venture there again in the future. Friday was pretty quiet for the most part until soccer in the evening, where Jason did goalie for two games. After that, we headed out to Applebee’s for some food and drinks again.
Saturday was Roxy’s grooming appointment in the morning and then we headed to the Clark County Fair for some Tuff Trucks! We were kind of disappointed that the second showing of Tuff Trucks didn’t have as many wrecks and boo-boos that is normally does. It was still an overall fun day though. Sunday was again a quiet day where we watched some movies and just relaxed on our computers.
Monday though we headed out to the Oregon Zoo after we stopped over at the clinic on our way out for my blood draw. The zoo was fun and animal filled which was nice since the signs said you might not see the animals today since it’s going to be a hot day. Thankfully that wasn’t the case. And Tuesday afternoon sissy flew back out.
Then it was back to my normal everyday life.
Catch the Moment 365 for 2015 – Week 33
Day 226 – Thursday, August 14th – After we got home from picking up Kris at the airport, we sat outside while I worked some too and I kept eyeballing these flowers outside the fence. I know it’s probably a weed of some kind, but I found it pretty and was even more excited when I was able to capture the little bee in it.
Day 227 – Friday, August 15th – Somehow I completely missed taking a photo this day, so sad!
Day 228 – Saturday, August 16th – Tuff Trucks at the fair. Where regular car and trucks go fast around the course and try to get the fastest time and sometimes more so the best wreck.
Day 229 – Sunday, August 17th – It was the funniest thing. Roxy was sitting on the little ottoman you see the corner of there and Jason was laying on the floor. Roxy crawls on top of him on his side and lays down and starts giving him kisses.
Day 230 – Monday, August 18th – Zoo day! This black bear was drinking some fresh water. More so putting his paw in the water and drinking it from his paw by licking it. Glad Jason got him while his tongue was all out too.
Day 231 – Tuesday, August 19th – I went into Fred Meyer real quick after soccer to get creamer and a few other things. So I was using my reusable bag and realize as I start putting stuff in it that it’s starting to tear so I had to hold it all funny to make sure I didn’t rip the bag. I am not sure if this one is fixable and that makes me sad.
Day 232 – Wednesday, August 20th – This thing is a true lifesaver. Jason got it free with one of his orders at work. It’s a portable charger and we love it and use it so much and never thought we would. With our smartphones always seeming to be running low on the go, this thing makes it easy and fast to get it back to full charge.
How was your week?
