Hi, Angie’s Angle friends! I’m Cate from Random Crafty Georgia Girl! I’m a Wife, Christian, Blogger,Crafter, Vlogger,Cat Mommy, Oz Lover, Scrapbooker, Atlanta Braves Fan, Indy Colts Fan Random Crafty Georgia Girl.
I moved to Atlanta GA with my husband’s family in 2008. I lived in a small town in Southern Illinois my whole life and my parents still live in the town where I grew up!
Mr. RCGG and I were married in July 2012 on the beach of Jekyll Island GA. We first went there in October 2010 and fell in love with it! It became our favorite vacation place.
I usually blog about crafts I have done and random things going on in my life! Over the winter, I kind of got off the crafty track and went more to the random life side because it was too cold to do outside crafts. Now that it’s warm again, I can get back outside to make home decor projects.
Angie and I “met” through Simple Moments Stick’s Solidarity Sisters challenge. I have participated a couple of times, but never got to the introduction point with my other sisters. My first assigned sister decided she didn’t want to be bothered and my second assigned sister was too new to blogging. I’m actually really excited that I got paired with Angie this time! I learned so much from her about blogging. Even though we have different blogging niches I connected with her and asked so many questions about everything from social media to media kits!
For our introduction post, we decided to do five things to know about each other. It’s a little different than what she did in the past and it’s always fun to learn new things about new friends! So here’s five things to know about Random Crafty Georgia Girl:
I’m 33 years old and I sleep with a teddy bear that my husband gave me for our second Christmas together. That was 14 years ago.
I must have ALL THE WASHI TAPE! I might have a slight obsession with these little rolls of decorative tapes. I have gotten more since this picture was taken! 😉
I love reading! My favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird. It’s the ONLY book I have ever read more than once. Other favorite books are The Sign of Seven Trilogy by Nora Roberts and The Brides Quartet also by Nora Roberts.
My favorite fast food is Chick Fil A. The one day that I really want to go there is usually Sundays when they are closed! It never fails! 😉
If you ask me what my favorite color is I will tell you pink, pink, and more pink! I wear pink every Wednesday because of Mean Girls!
Over the past two months, I have learned so much about blogging and social media from Angie! Just by reading her blog I have learned how to write my review posts to not make them sound like a review post. I have learned how to get my blog out there and hopefully start doing some sponsored posts.
