I know that I *should* replace them regularly, but I usually just keep them going until they are worn out or lost.

I don’t actually have any makeup brushes, that’s why I’d like to win these. 🙂 I don’t wear makeup often but I do when I get booked as a background actor in a movie or TV show filming near me.
I need makeup brushes first to be able to replace them. I have always used the bare minimum of makeup – a little bit of powder with an applicator already in the thing, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara and lip gloss is about it. I am just recently trying to get the know-how of dong more with my makeup! (Holly Thomas in the widget)
I don’t really replace, I buy as I go and the get rid of some as they start to “splay” or the ferrels become loose.
I usually replace my brushes after about a year and a half, though I know I should do so more often.
I actually haven’t replaced my brushes I want to upgrade them but I can’t yet might think about getting some morphe around Christmas.
I don’t think that I have ever really replaced my brushes. I kind of use them until they die and then I am kind of forced to buy new or do without.
I’m bad I don’t replace them until the hair starts falling out!

I have had just terrible luck with makeup brushes. First set fell apart within several uses so I upgraded to a bit more expensive brand and purchased the special cleaner and that set fell apart even quicker . Needless to say love been very disappointed so maybe you can help my current situation.

I am new to using brushes so they have to br pretty broken for me to give em up.
I usually replace them every six months if they’re brushes I use frequently. If I don’t use them very often, I clean them every month instead and keep them for a year. I probably have terrible brush hygiene.

Sometimes purchases include a good makeup brush, for example I got an It Cosnetics blush that had their blush blush with it and it’s Wonderful. So my blush brush is no longer in use. Or sometimes I see a good brush on super sale and I get it and no longer use the one I’d been using. Or if/when something happens to one I’ve got I will buy a new one to replace it. These are ways I replace brushes.
