Pretty giddy that it’s once again Friday late afternoon and I am sitting down to write out Catch the Moment 366 Week 40. It’s pretty insane on how giddy it makes me when I am on top of things like this.
Having said that this last week was a bit of a rollercoaster for me. There were some good points and some bad ones. I realize now as well that I started out the week by missing the first day photo. Not a nice way to start out the week. What is odd, I could have sworn I took a photo. I looked high and low yet couldn’t find one.
So starting out the week losing one already. Tuesday we ended up getting rear-ended on our way home, so that put a huge damper on our week. Thankfully we are all okay.
Catch the Moment 366 Week 40
Day 275 – Friday, September 30th – The day that no photo could be found.
Day 276 – Saturday, October 1st – Camping! We were able to join up with an annual soccer team camping trip, our first time. It poured buckets shortly after Jason and I arrived. Thankfully we were able to set up our tent and the cover over the picnic table before it started. Not so lucky everyone else had to set up in the pouring rain. Nicely, the rain ended up stopping finally in the evening and we were able to gather around the camp fire. And the puddle that was around the pit finally vanished too.
Day 277 – Sunday, October 2nd – Sunday thankfully was a beautiful dry day and we were all able to go out to the beach before everyone else left. Jason and I ended up staying Sunday night too. Roxy LOVES playing with the other dogs at the beach. The two ahead of her are Bailey & Luna who were fellow soccer campers, babies.
Day 278 – Monday, October 3rd – On our way home. Rained buckets once again as we started to pack up camp. Roxy loved having the back seat full and high. She felt more comfortable laying back there and enjoying it. Getting her to look at me for this photo though was a whole different story.
Day 279 – Tuesday, October 4th – I took this while we were waiting on Jason. He has the pager for work this week and part of that means he has to close up several properties on Monday and Tuesdays. We had our car accident this night as we were just about home.
Day 280 – Wednesday, October 5th – I thought the dark skies looked amazing.
Day 281 – Thursday, October 6th – Debbie and I have a tradition of taking each other out to lunch for our birthdays. This was my belated Birthday lunch at BJ’s. It was so yummy. It seemed so silly to get a grilled ham and cheese but it was delicious! And the berry burst cider was tasty too.
