Catch the Moment 366 Week 50 and 51 #CatchtheMoment366

Catch the Moment 366 Week 51 - Day 352 - Mommy and Roxy

Hi, guys!!  Here is hoping that your Holidays have been good ones.  With Catch the Moment 366 Week 50 and 51, you’ll find I am throwing the last two together again.  I missed a few days here and there so it seemed logical to just combine these last two again.

In case you missed it, yes I plan to do this again next year.  As I have stated before as well, I don’t really seem me stopping this.  As it gives me something each week to post that I know is coming and doesn’t give me headaches on thinking of things at times.  Plus, I capture things that I wouldn’t always think too.  Here is hoping that you are still enjoying this and maybe want to join in for 2017?

Catch the Moment 366 Week 50

Catch the Moment 366 Week 50 - Day 347 - Sunday Soccer

Day 347 – Sunday, December 11th – Jason’s new company put together an indoor soccer team.  Most of the players work with his company in some form, but it meant having to go to the other indoor arena we hadn’t been to before. It’s always freezing in here. I swear they are blowing IN cold air.  I don’t get it.  When this was taken, of course, they were playing Sunday’s.  But happily, they are going back to Saturdays so Sundays will be free again.

Catch the Moment 366 Week 50 - Day 348 - 2016 Christmas Tree

Day 348 – Monday, December 12th – We finally got our tree up and decorated.  We always get our tree up the first weekend in December, it’s one of our traditions.  While we got the tree, it stayed in the truck the week.

Catch the Moment 366 Week 50 - Day 349 - Roxy Santa

Day 349 – Tuesday, December 13th – And Roxy was just as excited to have a tree to play under.

Catch the Moment 366 Week 50 - Day 350 - Cuddled in Roxy

Day 350 – Wednesday, December 14th – I swear I was going to get up and start wrapping but Roxy decided it was time for some more cuddles.

Catch the Moment 366 Week 50 - Day 351 - Neighbor Christmas Basket

Day 351 – Thursday, December 15th – I decided I was going to make up a gift basket for our neighbors.  This wasn’t quite complete, though, but it was the picture I got that day so it was what I had to share.  You’ll see the completed basket next week.

Catch the Moment 366 Week 51

Catch the Moment 366 Week 51 - Day 352 - Mommy and Roxy

Day 352 – Friday, December 16th – I was setting up the camera so I could get a photo of Jason and I in front of the tree in our “ugly” sweaters.  While I was doing that I decided to play around with Roxy to get the set up right.

Catch the Moment 366 Week 51 - Day 353 - Soccer Christmas Party

Day 353 – Saturday, December 17th – We were invited to our first soccer Christmas party.  They were playing Heads Up and while I would have loved to have played, I wasn’t super comfortable of course.  I’m such an odd duck.  I love games but have to feel it.  But the pictures I captured were pretty funny.

Catch the Moment 366 Week 51 - Day 354 - Neighbor Gift Basket Finished

Day 354 – Sunday, December 18th – The completed gift basket!

Catch the Moment 366 Week 51 - Day 356 - Word Find at Soccer

Day 356 – Tuesday, December 20th – Decided to take along my word search book to soccer that evening.

Catch the Moment 366 Week 51 - Day 357 - Playing Under the Tree

Day 357 – Wednesday, December 21st – Oh what fun it is to play under the tree.  Fa la la la

Catch the Moment 366 Week 51 - Day 358 - Roxy and the Stockings

Day 358 – Thursday, December 22nd – I grabbed out the stockings to see what I wanted to put in them.  Roxy had some ideas of her own!

How has your last two weeks been?

  • krissie

    Cute puppy

  • Liv Jørgensdottir

Wishing you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with fun and frolic!

  • denise low

You have the cutest little puppy. Thank you for sharing.

  • Kelly O’Malley

I love your Christmas tree. So pretty. I love that idea of doing a “catch the moment” journal. I think the world can get so busy that we never really reflect on the moments that make up our life. Then one day we stop to reflect and the memories have become hazy.

    • Thanks Kelly!! I loved my tree this year. I love doing this and this year I almost didn’t do it, but I am glad I did and like I said I couldn’t imagine really not doing it anymore.
