Pretty pleased with myself that it’s Sunday afternoon and I am sitting down to type up this 2017 Catch the Moment 365 Week 6. Only because last week it was late getting up and it annoyed me. I like to be punctual. With even editing a few of the pictures earlier this week I had this ready to post in no time today.
As for my last week? I am not sure. It was a week and here we are on our weekend. I felt off most of the week which left me off feeling. Dislike when I am feeling off and can’t pinpoint why. Even got caught up with my Dogwood Challenges all but one for the last week. That will have to be this upcoming week again with the current week challenges.
2017 Catch the Moment 365 Week 6
Day 36 – Sunday, February 5th – After we got home from picking Roxy up from the Vet, I caught out of the corner of my eye all these birds in the back. There were so many of them, we got several shots of them in various stages of taking over our yard & the neighbors garage and wires. Amazing. A little blue bird came in and scared them all off from our back yard to here pictured.
Day 37 – Monday, February 6th – The Dogwood Challenge I was playing catch up on was for a landscape shot into black and white. So Monday after we ran to the credit union we drove down to Frenchman’s Bar to try and get some shots that could go into a black and white well. This isn’t perfect but I still enjoyed the contrast. I couldn’t help sharing though another one for day 37 with some color.
The sky and colors were just amazing while we were down there. We didn’t stay long because it was getting chilly.
Day 38 – Tuesday, February 7th – Roxy had her grooming appointment and so I had the car for the day. Jason ended up forgetting his lunch so asked me to join him for lunch at Cafe Yumm! that just opened by his work. Tasty as always.
Day 39 – Wednesday, February 8th – The Dogwood Challenge for both 2016 and 2017 for this last week was Artistic Candy. My idea was to shape several hearts from those little round sweet tarts. Little did I know that the sweet tarts had other ideas. This isn’t exactly what I had in mind but kept it because I think it still turned out fairly cute.
Day 40 – Thursday, February 9th – It was this sweet baby girl’s 10th Birthday!! Several different shots happened with the camera phone and giggling happened at this one. Up close and personal.
Day 41 – Friday, February 10th – Since I cleaned the upstairs bathroom the before I decided to go up and get photos for the Our House Series for the upcoming upstairs bathroom segment. Yes, our bathtub is in the floor.
Day 42 – Saturday, February 11th – The plan for today’s photo was to get the other Dogwood Challenge to take 10 shots of a single subject and pick your favorite from those. Instead, I wasn’t feeling well and we didn’t get to Fred Meyer like we were going to after soccer.
