Books themselves are just magic. Your mind creates the wonderous images you are reading, and nothing can compare, I believe, to reading the story to make your image. I think I am transferring my love books down to Lily. She seems to enjoy the feel of books in her hand and is always up to stop at the Little Free Libraries around our neighborhood. This is just one of the reasons I am happy to be sharing MamaBear books with you today and hosting a fantastic giveaway for these books. It’s your turn to uncover the magic of toddler reading with MamaBear books!
Thanks to MamaBear Books for sponsoring this fun giveaway. I was gifted the three books to make this giveaway happen. The post below contains affiliate links. Purchasing through the links provided helps support Angie’s Angle. Thank you!

Uncover the Magic of Toddler Reading with MamaBear Books
First, let’s meet Ashley Wall, co-founder of MamaBear Books and author of five books. Lucky you—this fun giveaway will allow you to try to get your hands on three of those five books.
Ashley is a Texas native, a former teacher, and now a mother of two. She loves reading, and with her years of educational experience, she hopes to inspire children to love reading while developing their imagination and encouraging kindness and friendship.
I first encountered Ashley when I entered a giveaway for her newest book on Instagram, Lucy, and her Unicorn Get a Sparkle Puppy. While I didn’t win, she contacted me asking if I wanted a copy of the book to help promote. And I had a quick reply of YES! A little bit later, I was contacted by her social management people, and I countered with doing a giveaway for the books while also receiving the other two, which I hadn’t had the pleasure to explore yet. So here we are, sharing our newfound love of all MamaBear Books.
Lucy and Her Unicorn Get a Sparkle Puppy
While this is Ashley Wall and Alana McCarthy’s newest book, it was the first I received, so I figured I would connect with it first. First, who can go wrong with puppies and unicorns? Plus, add sparkle, and I believe you have a cute book on your hands. This is the first of a new series, Lucy and her Unicorn. I am excited to see where this story goes and the adventures they encounter.
Lucy and Twinkle are told they can get a puppy if they show they are responsible enough to take care of it. So they start doing everything around the house to get that puppy they are pining for. And they learn that getting a puppy isn’t easy but worth it!
Lily and I love this book and can see us reading it repeatedly. You and your little one are sure to love it, and they struggle with learning how to take care of a cute little puppy.

The Day I Had a Bulldozer
Lily may be a girl, but she is obsessed with excavators. So, you can imagine her excitement when one of the boys in the book drives up in an excavator. Luke wakes up one morning with Bobo, his dog, barking because a big bulldozer is outside the house, and it’s for his boy Luke! Cherry, on top, is that all his friends show up in their construction vehicles to play for the day.
The illustrations are striking, bold, and eye-catching. It is friendly and toddler-engaging. Who doesn’t dream about being able to drive around in big construction vehicles?
My favorite part of this series of books (The Day I Had) is that at the end of each one, there is a little glimpse of the next book.

The Day I Had a Dinosaur
The second book in the series, The Day I Had, is another cute, imagine-if book in my head. Imagine having all sorts of dinosaurs show up, and you can ride them for the day. That is what Luke finds when he & Bobo are out playing in the sandbox one day. He sees his own Tyrannosaurus Rex. Curious what his friends ride up on? Read the book!
Once again, the illustrations are striking, bold, and eye-catching. I love these books for their full-on color and details.
