Time to Share Two Helpful Products for Toddler Solo Sleeping

Fantastic news to share, at 3 1/2, Lily is finally sleeping in her room. Before, she had been sleeping in her toddler bed at the end of our bed. That was fine, I wasn’t going to rush her to transfer to her own big bed. One night I asked her and she said Yep, I am going to sleep in my big bed. And that she did. From then on, she goes to sleep 99% of the time in her bed, and 90% of the time, she stays there all night. I started using two helpful products for toddler solo sleeping that I feel are helping.

Looking back, I realized I was anxious about transferring Lily to her own room. But it was easy, especially since I let her do it on her terms. The two little products I am sharing today made the transfer even easier.

Two Helpful Products for Toddler Solo Sleeping

MomCozy Sound/Light Machine

I looked at several machines that send lights to tell when to sleep, wake up, etc. I wanted the higher-end one just because I had heard such good things about it, and it’s all people talk about. But I ran across this one by MomCozy, and it did everything that one did, but was much less expensive. I went for it!

And I am glad we did. It works so well. We have had an issue with disconnecting, but with a quick turn off and turn on, it connects right back up.

You can set routines, which we love. We use three different ones right now: time to sleep, nightlight, and wake up. Lily didn’t want any sound on the lights, so we don’t do that, but there are several different sounds you can make at your or your child’s choosing.

Pros:

  • Easy to Set Up (timers, programs, lights, sounds).
  • All the different light choices.
  • Different sounds to fit your wants/needs.
  • Allows cordless operation

Cons:

  • Your phone app may lose connection from time to time. A quick click of the on/off button easily reconnects it.

We have personally loved it and highly recommend it. Check out MomCozy Sound Machine yourself today and see why we love it.

Arctic Air Pure Chill Deluxe Evaporative Air Cooler

Lily’s room has zero vents, so it can get cold or hot depending on the season, especially with the door closed. With warmer weather coming, I would need at least a fan in her room (which we still likely will). Instead, I was approached by Ontel Products Corp to join their affiliate and saw this little cooler that I thought would be perfect for Lily’s room.

Arctic Air (3)

We received this product, Arctic Air Pure Chill Deluxe Evaporative Air Cooler, quickly figured out how to set it up in Lily’s room and waited for the right time to turn it on.

Lily likes it as a white noise more than the cool air, but I am sure it helps keep her a bit cool during the night.

Arctic Air (4)

Pros:

  • Easy to fill.
  • Several different colors of lights to choose from.
  • Easy to pull out the filter.
  • Three different power settings to fit your needs.
  • Cooling control of high or low.
  • Quiet.
  • Runs for 10 hours.

Cons:

  • Leaks. I was told it was normal condensation, but it seems like a lot of water to mop up each morning after using the cool setting. If it came with a tray or something to catch that water, it probably wouldn’t bug me as much. Or if I knew putting a towel under it would be okay.

Overall, we like the cooler, but with that one big con: You must watch it and be cautious where you set it. Maybe they don’t all make big pools like ours, but it’s a good thing to be aware of.

Check out the Arctic Air Cooler today and see what you think.

That’s all, Folks!
