I was pleasantly surprised one day when I went to check my email and saw that I had an email asking me to please test a My Memories digital scrapbooking suite and then do a giveaway for my readers. I was a little in awe that they’d happen upon my blog and was super excited to host my very first giveaway (also a little nervous). I emailed back Liz and said I’d be interested in hearing more, and she emailed me back right away. Again a little shocked this was happening & had my husband read it all to just make sure it was all legit, and it was. So here I am. 🙂
I finally was able to sit down and play with the My Memories digital suite today. I had been feeling a bit under the weather and wondered when I was actually going to stop feeling foggy to test it out and be able to honestly review it. I opened it up and start just clicking stuff today, and my mind started to clear up some.
In my first layout, I just did my own layers and base. I found it was really easy. I didn’t think it was that bad at all for my first attempt ever at digital scrapbooking software. From this point on I found that I was pretty addicted.
I did two more of them tonight before deciding I was going to post my review cause it was just so easy & so darn addicting once you started going.
I haven’t played a lot with the other features yet, like making videos or cards or what have you. I can bet though that they’d be just as easy as these layouts were for me to learn.
I even went and downloaded the free kits they had on their site right now. They change those out regularly so make sure to go in there and get them when you can!
Planning to keep playing with this digital scrapbooking software though and learning more and more from it. I used to do regular paper scrapbooking (and probably still will), but just haven’t pulled out my stuff. This will be nice and handy to do right on my computer when I am feeling crafty.
