Beauty Monday: Neutrogena Rapid Dark Circle Repair

I get puffy under my eyes.  I get dark circles under my eyes. They are there most of the time, no matter how good I feel or how much sleep I was able to achieve.

I hide them pretty well with makeup, so when I go out, you don’t see them. But, those dark circles are there lurking.  

Being that I am plagued by dark circles, I was thrilled to be picked to try this out.  Anything that I could try to do to get rid of my under eye issues; would be great.

Neutrogena Rapid Dark Circle Repair

The Neutrogena Rapid Dark Circle Repair eye cream is supposed to visibly reduce the look of dark circles in just one week, formulated with Neutrogena’s exclusive accelerated brightening complex.  It helps diffuse the look of dark circles while light-reflecting mineral brightens the eyes.  

Product claims to see results quickly.

To start using twist the bottom of the package until the product appears on the brush. Apply to the eye area.  It also stated it works well alone or under makeup.  I couldn’t figure out if I was supposed to do it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night or just once during a typical day.  

My results weren’t great.  I am not saying it doesn’t work, but to me, I didn’t see any difference.  I did like the way the product felt under my eyes, and it was super easy to use.  It blended in well, and you didn’t even know I had applied it.  

I may have noticed a slightly less puffy under-eye, but since that isn’t something that a claim on this product, I can’t say that it did it.  The dark circles almost looked worse in the after picture than the before.  

What do you think?  I could have had a slightly different angle, but I tried to use the same light and area I took the before picture.  

My results were a full week.  I started last Sunday, the 4th of January, and took the before picture.  Taking the after picture this past Sunday (yesterday), the 11th of January.  

I was not impressed with the results. I am not saying though it couldn’t work or won’t work, it just hasn’t for me as of yet.
