Catch the Moment 366 Week 17 #CatchtheMoment366
Hi, my lovely readers. Here we are in the Catch the Moment 366 Week 17 already. I’m a little bit late getting this up because I wasn’t on at the computer much, which was nice, but left me a wee bit behind with my work. Ooops. I guess we need that though from time to time.
I did though get a full week of photos and had them edited Saturday, just didn’t get the chance to sit down and get them until now. It was your average week over here, so nothing new and exciting to tell you. I shall show you with a single photo from this last week though to give you a bit of insight.

Catch the Moment 366 Week 17
Day 113 – Friday, April 22nd – I bought this ottoman on amazon, of course. We had a little square brown one, but it was started to rip at the seams and Jason already tried to sew it up once before and it kept coming off the hinges. Plus I store Roxy’s things in it and her things were starting not to fit, so I went bigger. This one is so nice guys. It was way cheap but had gotten such great reviews I tried my luck and I love it. It’s so sturdy which surprises me since it came flat and you just pull it and put a mat down at the bottom and that was it. But really, it’s amazing. (amazon associate link used)
Day 114 – Saturday, April 23rd – We finally, finally, got our crap together and did a game night. It was fun! We had a turkey and sides, but only played one game because we got such a late start and no one could decide what game we were playing (I am working on narrowing that down for each game night BEFORE we have it). We played Partini, which a party game much like Cranium and Quelf. (amazon associate link used)
Day 115 – Sunday, April 24th – Ben really wanted to play this game on game night, but I had just gotten it to review and we didn’t really want to try to learn a new game for the game night. So I told Ben we’d get together with just him and Carrie to play it soon. Jason and I decided to give it a go Sunday and we loved it. It was so easy and I was afraid it was going to be hard because of how the directions made it sound. It’s kind of like Uno and chess mixed. It’s called Latice and was originally started in the UK. Hands down one of the best new games we have gotten. (amazon associate link used)
Day 116 – Monday, April 25th – And here we have of course my current book. This is my first time reading him and I really enjoyed it. I had gotten his books from somewhere and I have several on my to be read shelf. I am glad I do now cause it was really good. Rage by Jonathan Kellerman. (amazon associate link used)
Day 117 – Tuesday, April 26th – I had to laugh when I realized how Jason put my sunglasses after we were finishing cleaning up Saturday for our game night. So stinkin’ cute!
Day 118 – Wednesday, April 27th – When you weren’t around the computer again much, it leaves you scrambling to get some things done before bed. It was a little night trying to get my points & do some surveys. Dang dental cleaning anyway and then errands. And dangit on top on having to have cavities filled next week too.
Day 119 – Thursday, April 28th – We had bought this down at the Vancouver Farmers Market a few weeks back and I finished them today. One of my new favorite snacks, so good. When I went to eat them after we had tried them downtown, I thought to myself holy heck these are hot, I don’t know if I am going to be able to eat them. Keep eating and soon they were my favorite.
How was your week?
Now it’s your turn to link up with me and show me those amazing shots from the last week! I can’t wait to see.

A game night would be so much fun to do with friends! We do a game night with the kids sometimes which is always too fun!
We do game nights by ourselves too (as seen Sunday) but it’s always nice to gather more that like to play.
I love that ottoman. Roxy is so cute, getting on it! Yesterday I found out my dog now climbs up on my dining room table (ruh-roh) when I’m not at home so he can see out the window. Apparently the window above the sofa isn’t good enough.
We can finally have game nights, now! I’m super stoked. Now I just need friends who live outside the computer. Before that happens, though….I’m in DESPERATE need of relaxation.
Prepping for the move (decluttering, etc.), packing, moving and cleaning has been a long overdrawn process, but I think we did it right. This will be my first weekend to RELAX with NOTHING to do (at least for a few hours) but read and soak up some natural Vitamin D while reading a book.
I’ve never heard of that author. I’ll make a note to check him out. I have a ton of books saved to my Kindle (in general), so I’ll see what the mood brings.
I’ve been SO off the computer, it kinda hurts, but it feels good and I feel less stressed. I’ve been enjoying some great times with my loves.
Those cheesy puffs definitely look like something me and my loves would enjoy while hanging out together. We love sriracha flavor.
lol It looks like you are going to have to figure out some kind of platform for him. Like we did for Roxy’s bed. And the cheesy puffs, omg…you’d love them. YUM!
It looks like game night was a lot of fun.The ottoman looks really nice.
It was fun. I was happy. 🙂 Seriously I am so blown away on just how nice the ottoman actually is, I would have never excepted it.
