We all know I’ve been in a creative slump without the help of a bit of sponsored posts. Plus it gave us a reason to dress up in our best Hawaiian clothes & sit in the sun for a bit.
We can call that a win I think. Now keep reading to see how you can bring a bit of Hawaiian vibe to you now and in the future!
How to Bring a Little Bit of Hawaii to You
I think the most important thing to remember while setting up the scene for a little Hawaiian time in your own home is imagination. Close your eyes and think what would help make you feel like you were in Hawaii?
These are just the little tips I came up with to set the scene but don’t let these limit you, think of more ways to bring your own tropical time and just use these tips as a base.
And of course, the most important element is grabbing yourself some Hala Tree Kona Coffee, read on to hear more about it and how you can get yourself some. Aloha!
Outfit Yourself in Your Best Hawaiian Clothes
We have some nice older Hawaiian looking clothes, so it was easy for us to grab something from our closet to set the scene. I just wish it was a bit warmer outside when we did it. I quickly changed back into warms clothes after our photoshoot for this. But seriously wearing certain clothes really helps you place yourself somewhere you are wanting to be. Get out that flower dress or whatever else you have or can find. These are a few that I found on Amazon that you may like: Casual Flared Summer Dress, Men’s Hawaiian Shirt, or even this cute Grace Karin Pineapple Dress.Get or Use Outdoor Furniture
This time of year I find the best place is directly in the sun. But as the weather warms up, I know the porch is going to be perfect. Find yourself some comfortable and relaxing outdoor furniture. Get outside and enjoy this time. I love these gravity chairs, which are pictured.Order and Make Some Hala Tree Kona Coffee
A little background on Hala Tree – Owners Jean and Danielle Orlowski fell in love with Hawaii after a vacation in 2012. They uprooted their lives, relocated to Hawaii, and purchased a neglected Kona coffee farm. They’ve since nurtured the farm back to health and launched their own brand of 100%, organic Kona coffee. They learned the world of coffee and agriculture from the ground up (literally), and their passion and dedication shines through every single bag they produce. Kona coffee is known for being the best in the world, a standard Jean and Danielle take seriously. Each bag features a QR code so you can track the beans from seed to bag, and get information about the specific team member who picked and harvested the beans. The Hala Tree team strives to make every cup of coffee you make feel like you’re sipping it from the patio on their farm, trading stories about the island life.
This coffee comes in many flavors to bring the feel & taste of Hawaii straight to you. But we ended up with the Red Bourbon. The red bourbon was recommended to us and boy am I glad that we taste-tested it. So tasty and light. With hints of fruity, sweet, caramel, sweet spices, and cacao nibs. It brews lighter than I thought it was going to be before I added creamer. The hints of flavor come through without being overpowering. Just a tasty warm cup of coffee. Find all your flavor options and grab yourself some to grind at home!Splash in Some Sunshine
The important part of this set-up at home, I think, is adding in the sunshine. Sit in the sun with your tray set up of your favorite coffee mugs, your favorite person, and just soak in that vitamin D. Enjoy!
Now you have the basics to mix and bring a little bit of Hawaii to you! Enjoy it. Drink your coffee and envision yourself in some lush rain forest or beach.
