Birds are tweeting. Days are getting longer. But sadly, it’s still raining in Washington state. But that doesn’t mean Spring isn’t coming or starting to show itself. We have had a few lovely days, and boy, have they teased us. We can’t wait to spend more time outside. Today, I thought I’d share how to get toddlers outside, sharing a couple of products we already have and a few products we have on our wish list. Let’s help one another get outside and burn that toddler energy.

We have a great fenced-in yard (yes, it needs actual work, but it’s a nice size), so getting things to play outside for the yard mainly is a great idea. I know some may not have the space we do, but remember that I am also sharing outside things that can be used elsewhere easily.
Are you ready to get outside and play with us? Let’s go!
Five Things To Get Toddlers Outside
What we have…
7-in-1 Toddler Bike – We got this super cute bike for her 2nd birthday, and she has been loving it. But I think she may be getting a bit too tall for it. But it’s such a great starting bike. I grabbed her helmet at Fred Meyer, but Amazon has a similar Minnie Mouse helmet. We also grabbed her this little Minnie Mouse bell, but the handles on his toddler bike are a bit too thick for it, so we just pressed it on without fully screwing it back in. *Never fear; she has a bigger bike already lined up in our shed and one in our Idaho house!*
First Rollerskates – We got them for her for Easter, and she loves them. They are great for first-time learning as you can lock them first to get them used to “walking” in them. And then unlock to start actually skating. Of course, we had to get her protection gear to go with it. I grabbed this set, which includes elbow, knee, and wrist protection.
Bonus – But we also have these products and love them. Lawn mower bubble blower, and a bigger badminton set.
What we are wishing for…
Playhouse – Lily fell in love with one from Target, which apparently is a Target-only item from KidCraft. She mainly loved the kitchen, so I have been eyeing outdoor playhouses with kitchens, at least. This camper from Step2 Adventures has my heart right now. (side note: the camper goes in and out of being available on Amazon)
Bounce House – Lily has loved attending parties with bounce houses, so I thought it would be lovely for her to have a little one at home to play in and bring out for parties, etc. Plus, it’s a fairly reasonable price.
Sand and/or water stations – Having some kind of water and/or sand station for Lily to play in, I think, would be so much fun. I have eyed this rainforest one from Step 2 Adventures & this sensory table from Kidoozie.
Bonus – I also wish for these gems! This Costzon kids table, and Splashpad by SplashEZ.
