The Way to Bridge a Special Connection with Friendship Lamps

As I browsed my affiliate brands, which I do to see if anything catches my eye or a story idea pings from just seeing products. Doing this often helps spring ideas, such as my Cozy Fall posts. And this was no exception. As I was browsing, these friendship lamps caught my eye, and I thought Oh, that would be perfect for an upcoming separation of best friends. What a great alternative to bridge a special connection across many miles.

Thanks to Friendship Lamps for sending me two lamps to help us stay connected across the miles. There are affiliate links in this post that help support Angie’s Angle at no extra cost to you.

Friendship Lamps loved my idea and quickly sent me two connected lamps for my sampling and storytelling. However, we have been dragging our feet on getting them connected (it took longer than expected for our best friends to get internet in Spain, and well, just life in general). So I thought it would be fun to break this up into two parts. The first part tells the story of two best friends’ households and how the friendship lamps will be a beautiful way to bridge the connection across the many miles between them. Here we go with part one of two.

Bridge a Special Connection - Social

Friends That Are Like Family

We got fortunate with the last family that moved in next door. They ended up being the next-door neighbors who turned into friends, and in turn, became family. The ones I longed for, as I was lucky to have growing up. We love them so much. And while they are actively living next door, it’s so lovely having each other’s backs in so many different ways. Sadly for us, they like to explore and try new places to live and immerse themselves in. So once again, they are off to a new adventure for a bit, and we are here at home stuck without them.

Our two girls are the very best friends despite their vast age difference. More like sisters than just friends. They were fortunate enough to have spent this last year together, which makes their long separation even harder. However, we wouldn’t trade the previous year for anything.

Best Friends Jo and Lily - Sisters

Jo will be turning 13 in December, and Lily, of course, just turned 4 in August. They are stuck to each other like glue. I love their relationship so much. Here is hoping that even as Jo becomes a full-on teenager, she will always want Lily by her side. I am lucky enough also to be best friends with Jo’s Mom, Heather. So their move was rough on all of us. Finding the friendship lamp seemed like divine intervention, as I had run across it only a month before they were set to take off.

How amazing it is that you can touch the lamp and it’ll send a signal, no matter where the other (or others) lamps are? Just a look or a touch will let the other person know you are thinking of them and love them. Viola, Friendship Lamps were invented.
