I ran across this once before, but didn’t grab the button to play along, so this week I did as I was reading. It’s nice being caught up enough to do some random things as you find them. Since though I shall have the button stored for later use in my Windows Live Writer, we shall hopefully see this more often.
Being a HUGE bookworm, I couldn’t pass up this link up.
1. What are you reading right now? Tell us about it!
I am reading two books, which now I always am. My paperback is called Stars by Kathryn Harvey and it’s the second book of the Butterfly Trilogy. It came out first sometime in the late 80’s I believe, but I just read Butterfly a year or two ago and was excited to get the other two books of the series for my sister and I. Its about this woman from the first book that revenged a guy that did her wrong and her rise to being exclusive. I don’t do well on describing books, but trust me they are good!
On my kindle I am reading The Cowboy’s Runaway Bride by Geralyn Dawson. Its set in the 1800’s I think it is about this couple that fall in love when they are young and get married….something tragic happens and she tells him she never ever wants to see him again. Years later they run into each other and realize they are still married and still love each other. It’s good. I am almost done with it.
2. What books are on your beside table at the moment?
Nothing. I read my paperback during the day. I then carry my kindle up to read and play before bed. So there is nothing on my beside table. I do have a couple magazines on my side table in the living room, if that counts.
3. Amazon recently released 100 Books to Read in a Lifetime. What did they miss that you would add?
Well they have the one I was thinking the whole time on the list already, Little House on the Prairie Series. We shall go with The Scent of Rain and Lighting by Nancy Pickard.
4. Are there any books being published in 2014 that you are anxiously awaiting? If so, what are they?
No. Not really. I don’t pay much mind to what is coming out. I read what I have and then come across something that sounds good and I get all excited.
5. Name the next 3 books in your To Be Read List (the ones you will be reading next on your list.)
Good question. I never pick out my next book until I am finished with the one I am reading, so your guess will be as good as mine. Most likely though one of my next books will be the 3rd book of the Butterfly trilogy – Private Entrance by Kathryn Harvey. After that I just don’t know. See my selection below, you wouldn’t know what you were reading next either.
