Portland area is well known for its happy hours as I have heard time and time again. You go somewhere else, and they might not even have happy hours and you gasp and say how could you not have happy hours? They are the best things since sliced bread!
Happy Hours make me happy!! As the name applies. I love going out for happy hour with friends and co-workers (Jason’s co-workers of course since I don’t work). It just puts a skip in my step, and I couldn’t be happier. Again don’t let the quietness full you, it makes me giddy!
I have to admit we are kind of boring and go to the same place almost everytime we go out, but we love the Cameo Cafe & Shane and Danna, what can we say? Plus their happy hour deals are amazing, and their food is delicious!
I have stalked, yes stalked, Cindy with Portland Happy Hour Guidebooks for quite sometime. This is my third edition that I have received and her 8th. I have to admit that first year we got the book we didn’t do much with it, we just oohhh and awwed over the different places that do something for happy hour and what their specials were. The second year, last year, we did do a bit more with it. We used the coupon for one of the places & went to Lapellah for our anniversary. This year I hope to use the book even more and be more adventurous and go over across the bridge into Portland more. It is after all one of my new year goals.

In the Portland Happy Hour Guidebook are special coupons to use until the end of the year (this year there are 24). Cindy breaks down places by areas, so if you are looking for a certain area to explore its easy to flip there and see what she has in store. She rates the places from 1 to 10 stars and gives ratings for food, drinks & atmosphere. Sometimes you just can’t go off what a place looks like on the outside you need/want recommendations on the inside and Cindy does that. It makes it so nice to take a peek in somewhere without leaving the comforts of your home or car. She also dips into Vancouver a bit, so you are getting both sides of the bridge!
