While this isn’t exactly “makeup” I figured it had enough to do with beauty that it would fit in well enough for my Makeup Monday posting.
I dealt with acne throughout my teen years. Bad acne at times. Surprisingly most of my 20’s I had super clear healthy skin, but lately I have had pretty nasty breakouts again. Most things I tried were not helping it, or were drying out my skin so much I’d have to stop for a few days to let my skin heal.
I was excited to give Apothederm a try.
Apothderm states the benefits:
- Salicylic acid, an anti-inflammatory ingredient, exfoliates dead skin cells
- Glycerin is a humectant that draws moisture to skin
- Lightweight and fast absorbing
- Minimizes pore size
- Keeps skin balanced
There are several different lines that Apothederm offers, but of course I tested the Apothederm Acne Clarifying Treatment.
-My Opinion-
It went on smoothly and I didn’t notice any dryness at all. I only used it at night for the most part though. I think I did it a few times during my day routine, but always at night. I truly think that my skin did clear up quite a bit while using it. It felt nice on, no stickiness or oiliness feel. I barely even noticed it actually. Which again was a major bonus marks since quite often you feel a treatment like that being on. I liked the product though and would highly recommend you give it a go if you are suffering from any kind of acne.
While I don’t know that you can tell a huge difference from the photos, I can tell a difference in person. I tried to get similar angles and light, but you can tell its all slightly different. Hopefully you can tell the tiny bit of difference in the photos at least.
