It’s funny, I sit here looking at the screen getting ready to share my past week of photos and I can’t tell you what we did exactly. Most days were just spent at home not doing much, I think. Then we did go to two girl’s 80’s themed birthday party, which was fun – would have been better if I hadn’t been so tired this last week. Oh yes, it was that, I kept having to wake up in the night this whole week with Roxy because she had a owie on her leg that she kept playing with and not letting it heal.
Without further ado, let’s see what this past week did for us!
Catch the Moment 365 – Week 35
Day 239 – Wednesday, August 27th – Roxy was really wanting some of the old caramel kettle corn Daddy was eating. She said PLEASE Daddy, it’s so tasty!
Day 240 – Thursday, August 28th – Roxy is so funny. Normally she only eats in the evenings, and usually only after having played some before hand. BUT…if I take her dish outside with us so she’ll have that out there to drink or eat as she chooses, she munches away at it. Cracks me up and I don’t get it.
Day 241 – Friday, August 29th – Jayme and Jason waiting on the sidelines at soccer for their chance to get back on the field. Hopefully Jayme doesn’t mind me posting his pic on here. I was pretty amazed how well this photo turned out for me.
Day 242 – Saturday, August 30th – As I briefly mentioned above, on Saturday we went to an 80’s themed kids party. While I had a few fun shots, I didn’t want to post pics of the kids without knowing if it was okay. So instead you get to big silly heads playing away – Bufford & Annie – while the kids hit the homemade pinata.
Day 243 – Sunday, August 31st – Jason finally got some go juice late Sunday evening and did a bunch of yard work. It still has a long ways to go, but a big chunk of it got done in a short amount of time.
Day 244 – Monday, September 1st – We had been promising Roxy a good long walk and we just didn’t have the energy to do it, but Monday we finally did. This was one of my little finds. We had walked by this house so many times, but I don’t think I ever took note of the lions in the bricks along the yard. I wish I had gotten down more to take this pic so you could see more “in” the mouth.
Day 245 – Tuesday, September 2nd – This silly squirrel was sitting out on our porch just happily munching away on a nut. I so wanted to get closer, but by the time I got down to the screen Roxy scared the poor thing and off he ran.
