This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions expressed below are my own.
First, I must say I am not a “diet” follower. Never have been, never will be. However, I do believe in making more lifestyle choices and trying my hand on them. This is why I thought Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion may be a good choice to learn more about.
There a few different reasons that I was pulled in to learn more about this Always Eating After 7 PM book/plan. Today I am going to be telling you the reasons I am going to be diving into this book and maybe why you’ll want to with us too!
This is Why in a Nutshell Why We Are Eating after Seven
Jason and I eat a lot of the time after 7 pm anyway. We don’t always mean to but that is what ends up happening. From soccer evenings or just be lazy after Jason gets home from work. Often by the time we sit down to eat dinner, it’s after 7. So why not take a chance and try to guide ourselves into this way of eating anyway?
As you know Jason has diabetes, so one of the main reasons I gravitated to this book was to hopefully help balance his blood sugar levels more evenly. This last year has not been great on keeping his levels in a good range.
For me personally, I would love to, of course, lose a little weight. But I’d also like to boost my metabolism a bit again and get a bit of deeper sleep. Sleep hasn’t been super friendly to me lately, which so isn’t like me.
What is interesting to me is this book states:
“Research shows that the average person’s metabolic rate is no different during sleep than during the day. In short, your metabolism doesn’t slow down at night. Nor does your body store fat at the end of the day. Whether it’s 8 am or 8 pm, you use food for energy the same way.”
Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks – While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is now available to purchase. Learn more about the book and how to purchase here.
We’ve been traditionally taught to avoid carbs, have an early dinner, and never eat before bed. But the fact is, the latest scientific research shows us this earlier model is not the most ideal. I am hoping as we follow this we find it helps balance Jason’s blood sugar because our dinner is our main meal of the day. Joel Marion’s Always Eat After 7 PM program makes dieting easy and eliminates 90% of the reasons for resistance.
It’s my hope that following the Always Eating After 7 pm that we’ll both find a bit more balance and health. I am excited to share our journey with you all for these next few weeks.
