2020 Catch the Moment 366 Week 28
I think summer is just going to be hard for us. Roxy’s eye has healed some but it’s still not good. Which left this week to be hard because I was worried about her. And she was getting up super early and playing with her eye, which meant little sleep for me. So this 2020 Catch the Moment 366 Week 28 is her and reading. Because that is all I could muster.

At least though I did get all seven days of photos, that in itself sometimes is the major win. And I did get a regular blog post up this week – 7 Beach Reads. On what I hope is the first of two blog posts!
Next week will be better, right? I hope!
We are seeing improvement with Roxy’s eye, it’s just really slow. This last vet visit added in a drop in addition to her cream, which we hope helps speed up the healing of the ulcer. Cross your fingers!
Without further ado, our boring slow week that left me oh so tired.
2020 Catch the Moment 366 Week 28
Day 190 – Wednesday, July 8th – My sweet sleeping baby. Feeling better from her back being jarred and before she caught the grass seed in her eye.
Day 191 – Thursday, July 9th – Another full day at the vet for this Roxy girl. I ended up getting out the grass seed, yay! But it still ended up damaging her eye and giving her an eye ulcer. Boo! She was just excited to be back with Mommy and in the car though.
Day 192 – Friday, July 10th – Trying to relax with a nice hot bubble bath and my current read. Gotta love those “beach” reads. This one was good by the way.
Day 193 – Saturday, July 11th – A morning that felt normal. Roxy got toys out to do some front porch sitting. Jason was on call and ended up working pretty much the whole day. We didn’t end up getting to a baby shower we were going to go to this day.
Day 194 – Sunday, July 12th – Daddy tried to make me a pirate but I was having none of that. I let Mommy take a picture though! Was trying to do something to protect the eye a bit more.
Day 195 – Monday, July 13th – Tried to take a little nap after a rough morning. Roxy looked pretty darn cute lounged out next to me.
Day 197 – Tuesday, July 14th – You could tell Roxy was starting to feel more herself. She got three of her four balls out waiting for me to bring out her dish for her morning treats. Originally she was sitting down with them, which was really cute, but as soon as she saw me trying to take a picture she got up.
