Getting life back on what I feel on track has been hard. You’d think this post weekly would be fairly easy to post and it is. But sometimes just getting this up is hard. I mean I normally like to post this on Mondays or Tuesdays and here it is Wednesday this week on posting. And it’s been later in previous weeks. I figure though, at least I am getting it up, and that ti something. This 2021 Catch the Moment 365 Week 51 finds us trying to settle back into Jason going back to work. It was okay but there were still hard parts.
Lily has been sleeping weirdly and will mostly only sleep with me, so it’s been rough finding our rhythm there. But today I decided fine, it is what it is. She sleeps with me, so we can all get sleep, fine so be it. We’ll get there in time. Throwing my hands up on that one so we can be happier.
Ready to see what I happened to capture this last week? I can’t wait to share with you all. Keep scrolling to see.
2021 Catch the Moment 365 Week 51
Day 351 – Friday, December 17th – There was an invite-only event that I was invited to for Dave’s Hot Chicken opening in Beaverton. I had never heard of them before the invite and Jason was still on FMLA, so we thought why not. We headed down to a very busy invite-only opening and had some chicken. You pick your spice level and it’s more like a powder spice but yet sticky at the same time. Tickle me truly surprised though and highly recommend visiting a Daves Hot Chicken.
Day 352 – Saturday, December 18th – Lily received this cute elephant before she was born off the registry I made. Realized a couple of days before this that she really liked this little guy now.
Day 353 – Sunday, December 19th – We were gifted these beautiful wooden Wentworth Puzzles. We had been curious about wooden puzzles and were so lucky that they reached out to me to try a couple. Am hoping to start these tomorrow, watch my Instagram stories for progress.
Day 354 – Monday, December 20th – Jason’s first day back to work and I wake up hearing a big truck outside. Look out our bedroom window and spot a house getting torn down. What? It only took a few short hours and there was an empty lot here. So weird.
Day 355 – Tuesday, December 21st – Lily gave the best expressions when we got home from soccer this night. Gave Roxy the side-eye, raised her eyebrows at her, and gave daddy all the big smiles and open mouth.
Day 356 – Wednesday, December 22nd – The tree was up but only had the colored lights on it thus far. We were so late this year on Christmas things. In addition, it was also the first time I pulled out my nice Christmas mug. Next year will be better; it has to be.
Day 357 – Thursday, December 23rd – Being a cute 4-month old is hard, you guys. Just so hard. You don’t understand.
How was your week?
