Today I am going to show you how to make a tea lovers basket. This is just a base of what I think makes a great tea lovers basket. Feel free to customize with who you are giving to and what kind of occasion you plan to give for. How To Make A Tea Lovers Basket
A Base
Find something to give it in or on. I went with this cute basket, but I had an idea of doing a serving tray but wasn’t sure how exactly how to gift it that way. Do you have any ideas on how to make it work? I also had an idea of a teapot and filling goodies that way. I’d love to hear what you’d use as a base on how to make a tea lovers basket this season!
So instead just stuck with this basket. Isn’t it cute though and perfect for the Holiday season.
Scent
This is just an option if you so choose. But I added in a scent envelope before putting in the goodies. Just under the tissue paper. It adds that nice scent when you give it to someone without being overpowering. Covering then with tissue paper of your choice.
You could also add a candle or a melted wax if they use those. Just something that wafts out at them when you give it to them, to make them say oh that smells good.
Tea Mugs
I think it’s essential to make it a basket for two; after all isn’t it more fun to have tea for two instead of just one? I added in two tea mugs fitting for the Holiday season.
Tea
Adding in some choice of tea is kind of no-brainer I think when it comes to how to make a tea lovers basket, but it is worth mentioning!
I grabbed three different boxes of Bigelow tea at Walmart to add in my basket and think they are the perfect varieties for the Holiday season. The flavors I grabbed were Salted Caramel, Pumpkin Spice, and Constant Comment. I only put the Salted Caramel in the basket itself but plan on giving the other two with it as well.
Tea Pot
I added in a little teapot to steep the tea in and think it balances out the tea basket beautifully, you can choose to add in the teapot or not, but I think any tea lover would love one even if they already have one.
Snack
Lastly, add a bit of snack to go with the tea. I added in this little tin of cookies for the Holiday season. Perfect little tea cookies and again perfect to share!
If you are more adventurous than I, you could bake some cookies to put in the basket to give it an even more personal touch!
